Knockout original steel-bodied roadster pickup with fiberglass fenders. While retaining the basic external looks and characteristics of this 88-year-old classic pickup this now rare 28 Ford features an updated drive train and modern brakes. This custom Street Rod was fabricated using the finest components available. The workmanship is high quality and the truck is well finished. The show-quality Tangelo Pearl paint and Black soft top make this a real head turner. Really awesome exhaust note. Includes zip-in rear window and a black tonneau cover.
This roadster can be driven virtually anywhere: cruises at 70 MPH on freeways, has gone into Yosemite Valley a couple of times, and up and down the infamous Old Priest Grade - no overheating, no fluid leaks. Only 648 miles since the professional restoration was completed. At the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, CA in January 2016 many attendees commented that it was the best '28-'29 roadster truck in in the show.
Professionally appraised at $34,400 in April 2016; the guts of that 30-page document can be seen in the photos (includes a complete list of components). To duplcate this build it would easily take $50,000. This local custom jewel is offered at $35,900.
