Price slashed to $7,100! Believed to be a 3-owner West Coast car, bought new near Seattle, then owned in near Walnut Creek, CA; it's been stored in a warehouse, driven occasionally, waiting to complete the restoration for nearly 10 years. This is an all original Cutlass with virtually all parts to complete restoration. Very minimal surface rust. The car is in great driving condition: strong engine, transmission, and brakes. We have resources Bay Area for paint/body/and interior to take it to a very presentable level - at about half normal retail cost.
The Oldsmobile F-85 Cutlass was produced from 1961 through 1963, the first convertible debuting in 1962. Oldsmobile stylists substantially revamped the F-85/Cutlass line for 1963: 4 inches of added length and a new slab-sided appearance made the cars seem larger. The Cutlass package featured bucket seats, 185-hp high-compression 215-cid Rockette aluminum V-8, equipped with a 4-bbl. carburetor, power steering, radio, full chrome wheel covers and more. These early Cutlasses are amazingly roomy small cars and their lightweight V-8 provides impressive performance. Inside, a richly detailed two-tone vinyl-trimmed interior with front bucket seats was standard. 12,149 Cutlass convertibles were produced for the 1963 model year (out of 53,492 total Cutlasses). What lacks: top, wiper motor, fuel gauge, and working radio. Offered at $7,100.
Note: the 2nd, 3rd and 9th photos show how it would look when completed.
