Vehicle Description
This car is in incredible condition and appears as if it has half the indicated miles. It obviously was always garaged, as there is no interior fading. We found this car for a senior female eight years ago, with about 92,000 miles at the time. Tires and brakes have 80% remaining life.

The Lexus SC430 long-haul comfort and build quality is impervious to high mileage. It is different from the herd and on paper it has the kind of specification we’ll soon be drooling over in motor museums: a naturally aspirated 300 hp 4.3-litre V8 driving the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic gearbox, double-wishbone suspension and a folding aluminum roof. The 2003 Lexus SC receives an average consumer rating of 4.9 overall and a 4.9 for reliability, which means owners consider its reliability to be above average. According to drivers of the 2003 SC430, here are some of its best features: Style, amenities, folding hardtop, and that engine! The 2+2 cabin is a gadget-lover’s paradise and, this being a Lexus, you won’t have to worry about any of it not working. The climate control system can sense whether the roof is open or closed, as well as the speed the car is travelling at and the ambient temperature, and automatically direct chilled or warm air as necessary. There’s a knockout Mark Levinson sound system (many rate higher than high-end home systems), powered and heated seats, electrically adjustable steering column and a touchscreen navigation (which can be swapped out for a modern one - even with reversing camera; all in the original space). The cabin is trimmed in leather and those door and fascia cappings are real wood, shaped and lacquered with the help of musical instrument makers Yamaha. Everything is finished and screwed together beautifully, qualities that serve today’s used SCs very well. This car has the Lexus tweaked suspension that in late-2002 brought improvements to the ride, handling and refinement. https://www.motortrend.com/reviews/2002-lexus-sc430-first-drive/
The SC430 design was a collaborative effort between studios in Europe and Japan. However, chief designer Sotiris Kovos apparently drew most of his inspiration from the timeless Italian Riva powerboats found on the Cote d’Azur. The elegant styling was therefore characterized by a compact cabin, flowing surfaces and a tight lower body. The leather interior of the SC430 is by Coach, maker of expensive handbags.
Lexus built around 80,000 of these cars during the entire production run from 2001-2010, ensuring its rarity. Original MSRP on this car was $63,884. We offer this reliable, collectible beauty at $16,900.
